Our friend in Sweden, Silvester, sent us an email telling us how a year ago he was going to release an album on a record label he had started. The band was called Civilisationen and consisted of his kid brother and a group of friends. Sadly, only days before they sent the album to pressing, the lead singer and good friend, Patrick Kejtson, took his life. The band broke up and the album never came out. 

Now a year later, Silvester and Civilisationen have decided to release the album. To honor Patrick the album will also include a bonus disc with some of Patrick’s solo recordings, one of which is a version of The ‘59 Sound translated into Swedish. We thought the cover was really fantastic and wanted to share it with all of you.
